Free Planet Fitness Teen Summer Pass
June 1 — August 31, 2026
If you’ve got teens, this great offer is returning from last year! From June 1 through August 31, 2026, Planet Fitness is offering a free summer pass to teens ages 14-19. The pass gives high schoolers access to over 2,400 locations nationwide all summer long. Registration opened on May 18, 2026, and can be completed online or at your local club. Teens under 18 require their parent/guardian to sign a waiver allowing them to work out alone.
National Fishing and Boating Week
Many states offer at least some free fishing days during the summer. To find out more, go here.
National Park Visit
August 25 — 28, 2026
In celebration of the National Park Founder’s Day, celebrating the national parks’ 110th anniversary, any sites that charge admission will waive the fee from August 25 to 28, 2026. Visitors can participate in special ranger programs, community events and hiking and biking. Visitors are encouraged to share their park experiences on social with tags like #NPSBirthday and #NPS110.
Free Museum Admission
First Weekend Every Month, 2026
Get free museum admission with your Bank of America card the first weekend of each month. Active BofA/Merrill/Private Bank credit/debit cardholders get one free adult admission (must present card + photo ID). This summer, that’s June 6-7, July 4-5, and August 1-2.
Chase Museums on Us Program
First Weekend Every Month, 2026
The Chase Museums on Us program grants free general admission for the primary Chase credit and debit cardholder and one additional guest. The cardholder and their guest can enter participating museums, historical sites and cultural institutions across the United States on the first weekend of every month. This summer, that’s June 6-7, July 4-5, and August 1-2.
Home Depot Kids Workshops
First Saturday of the Month, 2026
Home Depot offers free in-store hands-on workshops for kids aged 9 to 12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month. Kids receive a free pre-cut wooden craft kit, apron and certificate. Register on the Home Depot site at your store location. This summer, those dates are Jun 6, July 4, and August 1.
Lowes DIY Kids Workshops
Second Saturday of the Month
Lowe’s Kids Workshops are free, hands-on building events held at Lowe’s stores across the country on the second Saturday of the month. Designed for kids aged 4 to 11, each workshop runs about 30-45 minutes and offers kids a kit to build, paint and personalize. They can then take home their project. This summer’s projects: 6/13 is a trophy cup; 7/18 is a mini toy box; 8/15 is a Dino Island Volcano.

On July 11, 2026, 7-Eleven’s nationwide celebrate the store’s birthday, offering a free small Slurpee at participating 7-11s, Speedway and Stripes locations while supplies last. Select locations also offer tongue-toos, temporary tongue tattoos. Check with your location before visiting.

Arby’s: Buy an Arby’s cheesesteak online and get free fries on your next purchase through August 10.
Burger 21: Free fries with the French Fry Day offer in their app.
Burger King: Members of Burger King’s Royal Perks loyalty program get any-size fries free with a purchase via the app.
Carl’s Jr: Free natural or waffle fries in the app with any purchase.
Checkers: Bring in a receipt from any other fast-food restaurant besides Checkers or Rally’s to get a free large fry.
Hardee’s: Reward members who make any purchase on the app on July 11 get a free order of fries.
McDonald’s: Get free fries with any $1 purchase in the app.

To honor this iconic American summer food, several chains offer deals. 7-Eleven rewards members get special pricing on Big Bite hot dogs; Circle K features two roller grill hot dogs for $1; and Dog Haus often provides free Haus dogs for rewards members. Check with your local stores for deals and participation.
National Ice Cream Day

Sunday, July 19, 2026, is National Ice Cream Day. To celebrate, major deals including freebies at Dairy Queen (via app), Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream and The Yard Milkshake Bar, along with discounted pints at grocery stores will be offered. Expect BOGO deals on brands like Popsicle at your local grocery retailers.

Chick-fil-A: Some locations give a free chocolate chunk cookie or brownie with mobile drive-through orders placed between noon and 1 p.m., and between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts offers a free original glazed donut at the drive-through. No purchase required.
